Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is broad.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
