The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
